My background in the automotive industry has given me the opportunity to work across design, fabrication, vinyl, branding, and installation. These projects showcase the intersection of creative problem-solving and hands-on production, where the finished design has to work not just visually, but in the real world.
FEATURED PROJECT
Switch panel required buttons to represent aftermarket components on a custom-built Rock Crawler. Ready-made options were not offered through the panel's manufacturer. I attempted to find a similar material to the existing buttons, but did not have the required equipment to reverse-print on adhesive.
As this panel was intended to be used in a rugged, off-road vehicle that could be exposed to the elements, the buttons also needed to be highly durable. I opted for a combination of high quality films; 3M black vinyl with Oraguard 210 matte laminate.
